Claire in Mrs. Wegner's class recommends the Spider Wick Chronicles (fantasy) by Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black because of the fun creatures, magic and Mallory. This story is about three ordinary kids who have a magic book their uncle made. If they step out of the circle of mushrooms, then they can get hurt by goblins!
Brianna from Mrs. Hall's class recommends you read Zoo Break (fiction) by Gorden Korman. This book is about a monkey who was stolen by a zoo keeper and was put on a floating zoo. Her owner and friends plan a zoo break for all the animals and put them in their house instead of another zoo! Brianna says the book, "has humour and it will teach you a lesson if you own a zoo, take care of animals properly or else something bad could happen."
