Subject to Change

It was necessary to make some changes to class lists in Grades 4, 5, and 6 today.  Such change is directly related to the total number of students currently enrolled at our school.  We have been allocated an additional teacher and as a result, grade 4, 5 and 6 class sizes are reduced as we create a new Grade 4/5 class.  So our day today began with a Grade 4 and 5 class meeting in the gym to announce the changes.

Due to the reorganization, we have also had some changes in staffing assignments.  Mrs. Colbourne will be teaching the grade 4/5 class, Mrs. Angel will be teaching our French classes for all Junior and Intermediate students and we welcome back Ms. Butters-Mathews who will be teaching in the grade 4 classroom while Mrs. Berger is on maternity leave.  Mrs. Bulfon, one of our Special Education Resource Teachers, will also have additional responsibilities as a Planning Time teacher in Mrs. Colbourne's class.

There are students who have moved to a different class with a different teacher today.  There are teachers who changed grades and assignments today!  We thank everyone for their assistance and cooperation during the move!
